Team

In June of 2011, Valentin and Savannah met at the summit of Pikes Peak. Both young drivers had just achieved their goal of finishing the 89th annual Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. Though the two drivers come from very diverse backgrounds, just five months later, they decided to join their experience to create a race team. Just like that, Fingers Crossed Racing was born.

This husband and wife team competed at the 2012 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. Valentin drove his 2001 Audi A4 and Savannah piloted the 1991 Audi Coupe qauttro that the two built in the months leading up to the race. The weather on race day in 2012 provided challenges for the team, but true to their name, the team already has fingers crossed and high hopes for the 2013 season.

While motorsports is an industry known for its opulence, Savannah and Valentin know first hand that it doesn’t take a million dollars to fall in love with racing. Fingers Crossed Racing was created with the idea to provide opportunities to those interested and passionate about driving. Through the mentor program and other community outreach exercises Fingers Crossed Racing hopes to be an example of what dedication and hard work can accomplish.
